The name "Rincon" dates back to earlier times when a winding river flowed through the desert lands. This area is referred to as "Rincon Country", but with the rapid growth of Tucson, we are no longer out in the country and today the river only flows when the monsoon rains fall.
The great weather here contributes to an active retirement lifestyle. Walking, bicycling, and jogging are common sites in the park. Wide clean well lit boulevards are just a part of this sizeable community of 540 home sites. The Rincon community has an extra level of security with friendly guards at your gate 24/7. All trash is picked up at your curb, including large items, twice a week. We are connected to city sewer and water. Half the homes are sub metered electric the rest contract directly with TEP. Natural gas hook up is available. Rincon is like a small town within the city.
There are a few vacant lots available for new homes. Information on Model Homes, Existing Homes and Park Owned Homes are available through two independent sales companies who work in the park. Once you are settled in, begin to explore the many things that this area has to offer. Take a short drive up Mt Lemon, rising to elevations of 8000 feet and go skiing. Driving south to the Sea of Cortez and its beautiful resort shoreline. Venture over to the Grand Canyons or Sedona.
Visit some of the local farmers markets, spot some wildlife, join a club or competition, come to a gathering at the community building.
